I am taking this whirlwind that swirls around me and watching as the pieces begin to fit together. So many pieces in transition that life feels fluid, like water, and I am rooted strongly in the middle watching… determining my focus in order to achieve what I prefer. A couple of hiccups are causing ripples and I am looking for a way to calm the waves.

I have always loved this quote. Jimi Hendricks said it many years later and it has spread across the world.

I feel it has been happening on a small scale for a long time…. but now, it’s happening across the world and we are seeing it…. as each heart awakens to the love within. It is in the heart that love begins and this love creates a peace that spreads from within to as far as we desire.

People are beginning to see that we do love each other…. and are realizing it is our governments (or a power controlling our governments) that are so bent on power and destruction.  Will the Middle East truly find peace? If they can find peace then surely everyone can find peace and yes, it will be found within the hearts of the people.

Even our chakras speak to this truth. For many years our societies have existed in a power struggle. It is a solar plexus power that is out of balance as we have used our power against others and for our own gain. As more and more people balance this energy and begin to use their power for the betterment of all, the heart chakra begins to open and as it opens, we experience a love so deep and profound that is can actually feel painful to the body. We begin loving everything in our life. Loving the trees, loving the neighbors, loving strangers…. this is the power of love.

When Jesus said, “Love your enemies”. This is the pure love he was talking about. It is a love without condition. It is a pure love for you – because you are you – because you are special, unique and different from me. Once we love our enemies, our enemies disappear and new friends appear. He was speaking on ‘living in peace’.

The following video is showing the heart of the people of Israel. Within the voice of this man you can hear truth as he is confessing his love for the people of Iran… he is a beautiful image of love. Many people in Iran responded so beautifully to this video with their own confessions of love for Israel and for life – just look it up on youtube. 🙂

A grown woman expressed her concern with me: “We have been spending time getting to know her over the past year and letting her get to know us. Please understand when she is around, we are not ourselves, we are on our best behavior. I do not think she realizes who we really are.”

I must admit that someone’s honest confession to this lack of authenticity was a little shocking. In my world I place authenticity at the very top of my living experience and if I ever realized a lack of authenticity in my behavior, I would be admitting it and immediately following it with a profound and honest apology.

I wasn’t sure how to respond to someone who valued authenticity so little. It was as if speaking to a child who doesn’t understand honesty. So I asked, “I agree. If you aren’t yourself when she is around then she doesn’t really know you and I wonder who she has been getting to know over the past year?”

If we keep playing these games others will never know who we really are and we will never know if we are truly loved.

Please BE yourself – regardless of who you are around.

This way you give others a chance to know the real ‘YOU’, and who knows, perhaps they will love you anyway.

It seems to me that God loves diversity… just look at how we are each different. Look at the variety of trees and animals and all of life. Why judge one as being right and another as being wrong? This only takes away our joy! Instead, be joyful in our experience and joyful for others and their experiences. I am grateful to live my life the way I choose and I am grateful you and I are different.

One day, everyone will realize the Creator’s love is unlimited and perfect. Understanding we are each loved completely, exactly the way we are.

Ever hear of a ‘VISION BOARD’? Making one usually involves a lot of magazines and hours of searching through them, cutting the best photos or words out and then pasting your favorites onto a poster board. It’s an effective way to be intentional, but old fashion.

Here’s what I recently did. I made a bunch of 10×18’s pages in Photoshop and added photos for different subjects. I made one page for Peru, several pages for the Yucatan, lots of pages of what I want my house to look like, pages of my ideas of fun, and on and on until I had over 40 separate boards. A bunch of them are just beautiful images I found online and of course I was finding all the photos online – no more magazines. Then I mingled pictures of my kids and all the members of my family and put the pages into a folder for my screensaver and set it on a slideshow option.

Yes, it still took an afternoon or more, but it was alot of fun and now, when I leave my computer for a few minutes, I come back to my personal slideshow of the 60+ incredible files – showing my life and my dreams. I see them all the time!!!

I love it and it’s a really cool manifestation tool – a digital vision board slideshow. Just be careful what you ask for…

I forgot to imagine a home on my first board, instead, it depicted travel and wind and flowing movments. My life turned out exactly as I had created it. It was eerie for me and all of those who saw it and I learned a powerful lesson about Vision Boards – if you want a home… make sure you add it. It wasn’t a concern of mine… and now it is.

It is important lesson – to focus on a well balanced, stable life. My current vision boards are full of tropical scenes, beautiful bathtubs, soft beds and raw foods, however, I live in the mountains of VA, so it was my goal to incorporate those dreams with the stability of my home, surrounding by my love. 😉

Now it’s just a matter of living life because I know it will happen. My intentions have been clarified and brought into the physical in a way that they are real to me. I see them, I feel them… it’s just a matter of time… a manifestation of my focused intention.

The water comes out of the faucet… I sniff and turn away… it stinks of chlorine. Then I hold it to my heart and I pray…

I see waterfalls and water rapids and underground streams and I share these visions with the water – reminding it of the beauty it contains. I open to the universe and share my joy and my life… a complete, unconditional love as endowed by the creator and I merge with the water seeing this beauty from it’s view. When I open my eyes and smell the water… It smells like rain. I drink the water, it taste sweet, like a mountain spring.

Others have asked if the flouride and chlorine are still in the water after the prayer. I do not know. I only know that the prayer makes it taste and smell wonderful and I trust the creator can easily correct our mistakes.

It takes time to pray with the water and sometimes I forget and try to drink it without the prayer. I am quickly reminded as the water taste bad straight from the faucet. Dr. Emoto, the water crystal expert, shares with us an beautiful prayer for the water (and he has scientific proof to it’s effectiveness).

“Water we love you. Water we thank you.” 

If healing our water is possible through prayer, just think what we can do with our planet which is 70% water. Just think of what we can do to our food… our environment, our body! Everything around us is full of water.

Science tells us that energy is not created nor destroyed, only transformed. This is a powerful tidbit of information.  We see energy transformed every day. It is a truth of this world, perhaps of the whole universe. In this case, my Prayer (my energy) is directing it’s focus, merging with the energy of water and activating our universal love – transforming the water and transforming me.

Imagine this… if God was all that existed in the beginning, then part of God was transformed into the universe as we know it. If this is true, then the universe, all things, are made by God and OF God. We are surrounded by God, we are in God, we are of God. You could say we are children of God, a small part of the larger whole.

I once had a vision of hiding in a cave and then the Creator showed me that the cave was part of the Creator and I was part of the Creator… and that it was silly to think I could hide. I could never really hide from myself because I am in all places at all times.

This vision showed me the world is an illusion, an illusion of separation so we can experience one’s self without already knowing who we are. As humans we are earth beings. Our human life is about living in harmony with Earth, with her water, with her love, with her life. Our bodies are smaller parts of the whole of Earth and our spirits are smaller part of the whole of creation. My body thinks in limitation, but my soul knows I am eternally connected. This means we have access to all that has been created – we can access the whole of earth, universe – all of creation. We have access to it all.

May your water remember the waterfalls and the rapids. May it feel the depth of the earth once more and the rays of the sunlight which bring so much love. May you share your gift of love with the water that it may share it’s loving gift of life with you; remembering we are symbiotic partners in this dance of life.

This physical reality is about energy transformation & renewing from one form into another.

In your backyard, under a beautiful tree is a mushroom. It is made of the same elements of all things on earth – only arranged in a way that makes a mushroom. The cells actually take on the role of the mushroom and form that life.

The mushroom knows it is a mushroom and with this knowledge it holds itself together as the mushroom. As a unit, it’s cells transform the energy from the dirt & water to renew itself – growing larger and healthier, towards the sun.

Then a bug comes along and eats the mushroom. Many of those mushroom cells are now assimilated into the bug and become part of the bug. They are aware they are the bug and they are doing their job and providing for the bug.

A bird comes along and eats the bug. The cells of the bug are now transformed into the bird and the bird is renewed & refreshed. Some of these cells are assimilated into the bird and are responsible for supporting the bird – they are now part of the bird and they do their job well. They hold the bird together.

A cat comes pounces on the bird and many cells of the bird are assimilated into the cat – becoming part of the cat. They take on their new responsibilities and perform them well.

The cat is loved by a child and over the years he assimilates many animals which all help restore and renew the cat. One day, when the cat is very old, his cells are tired of being the cat. He takes his last breath as a cat and his family lovingly buries him in the back yard under a beautiful tree.

The cells of the cat return to the dirt… supplying energy for bugs and creating a nutrient rich soil.

The next spring, under the beautiful tree in the backyard, where the soil is rich with nutrients, a new batch of mushrooms pop up and a bug takes a little nibble.

Death of the body is not a bad thing, just transformation from one to the next. We are of the earth and we eventually return to the earth.

I choose for my body to be renewed over and over until the time comes that it is tired of being a body and my spirit leaves… Then I choose for my body to return to earth. To be planted with seeds, spores and love…. in a thin framed wooded box allowing earth to reach in and transform my body back to itself.  Plant a tree on me. A willow tree. The cells of my body will nourish the earth, becoming a mighty willow tree of great beauty – healing and comforting – the bark of my tree has soothed pain for centuries and my fronds restore peace to the heart… a continuation of my human life.

As the real me (my spirit) returns to earth to visit with my friends and family who are still here, and help them on their paths, I also know my physical body exist within the tree, within the earth.  The earth is related and part of me… in Oneness, we are always together. Separation is illusion. We are one.

Every word that is spoken does not contain truth. The media and government in the US (maybe in other countries too) are not sharing the whole truth. If you listen, you will recognize that something sounds odd. If you look up the facts, you can see the truth is different from what they are saying… Please use your discernment and BE more aware of your environment.

My intention is for us to listen for the truth… to understand the planet we live on… to be prepared. I respect the man who runs this site…www.dutchsinse.com  and feel it is a great resource for us to enjoy.  He doesn’t encourage fear, however, he does acknowledge truth. Be here now… trusting what is around us to be as it truly is instead of wishing it to be different than it’s natural way.

Now, we can walk in joy and acknowledge this planet is moving right under our feet. It is the natural order of things and all is well.

“I hope today is a great day!”……. This seems like a positive statement to most people, however, “hope” implies there is a possibility that today may not be a great day. It may be a bad day… and you are waiting to see which way the day goes.

Great, bad, slow, boring, fun… these words are words of judgment, our translation, our opinion of the situation.

We tend to think our opinion is correct and therefore it must be correct for everyone else. For example, a young man getting a motorcycle may be excited and think everyone should be excited for him. Perhaps his girlfriend is thrilled, but his friends are jealous and his mother is terrified. They are each justified in their opinions, which are ‘right’ for them, however, not appropriate for each other.

Your opinion is your judgment of the situation based upon your perspective. Changing your perspective will many times change your opinion. We refer to this as ‘being in someone else’s shoes’. Several funny movies have been made with this concept – where the spirit (or soul) or a mother and daughter or sisters exchange bodies. They get a different view of the world and many times drastically change their opinions and judgments of situations and people.

In real life, we may experience something as a child and then later, as an adult, we are amazed at how differently we see the place, person or situation. It is very wise to remember that our opinions are not ‘right’ – they are only right for us at that specific time and place based upon what we are focused upon – that’s our perspective. Change our focus or put us in another time or place and our perspective will be different and more than likely so will our opinion.

Many times children aren’t even sure what to think of situations. They will watch the people around them in order to figure out what response is appropriate. This is one of the reasons our children so easily learn to behave as we do, even taking on our facial expressions.

Even in the same situation, there is always more than one way to look at it. There is always a so-called ‘good’ and ‘bad’ way to see it. The cup is half empty or half full concept comes to mind. I refer to this as our FOCUS. You can focus on the bad or the good. So, you have a flat tire…. how can you see good in this? Perhaps you will avoid an accident that might have happened, perhaps it’s better than a blow out on the highway going 70mph, perhaps someone will help you change it and a moment of friendship will be shared. 

Since your focus and your perspective create your translation of the experience, your experience is COMPLETELY in your control – do you wish to be happy or sad? Excited or scared?  If you wish to have a GREAT day, then see the GREATNESS within. If you don’t, please remember, you are the one translating your day. You are the one who has control over your translation, your experience of the day.

Our days are always blessed with endless beauty and joy….  and my wish is that we see all the blessings around us, in every moment. Every day is a great day – you just have to see it… In fact, a great idea for today is to have a great day!
