“If you want to become a meditator, you have to drop this sleepy habit of doing things. Walk, but be alert. Dig a hole, but be alert. Eat, but while eating don’t do anything — just eat. Each bite should be taken with deep alertness, chew it with alertness. Don’t allow yourself to run all over the world. Be here, now. Whenever you catch your mind going somewhere else…. It is always going somewhere else, it never wants to be here. Because if the mind is here it is no longer needed; right in the present there is no need for the mind — consciousness is enough. The mind is needed only there, somewhere else in the future, in the past, but never here…..Whenever you become alert that the mind has gone somewhere else — you are in Poona and the mind has gone to Philadelphia — immediately become alert. Give yourself a jerk. Come back home. Come to the point where you are. Eating, eat; walking, walk; don’t allow this mind to go all over the world.   It is not that this will become meditation, but it will create a situation.”~ ♥ Osho

A feeling of being overwhelmed is your indicator that you are denying yourself access to all manner of cooperation that could assist you if you were not disallowing them.  As you begin to feel freer regarding the expenditure of time and money, doors will open, people will come to assist you, refreshing and productive ideas will occur to you, and circumstances and events will unfold. As you change the way you feel, you access the Energy that creates worlds. It is there for your ready access at all times.

To love me is to accept me

To love me is to honor me

To love me is to enjoy my essence

Do not attempt to change me

Do not attempt to control me

Do not try and fix me

The deliciousness of milk and honey

is the reflection of the pure heart:

from that heart the sweetness of every sweet thing is derived.

The heart is the substance,

and the world the accident:

how should the heart’s shadow be the object of the heart’s desire?

Is that pure heart the heart

that is enamored of riches or power,

or is submissive to this black earth and water of the body,

or to vain fancies it worships

in the darkness for the sake of fame ?

The heart is nothing but the Sea of Light:

is the heart the place of vision of God–and then blind ?

~ Rumi

TRUE PEACE…  does not mean to be in a place where there is no noise, trouble, or hard work. It means to be in the midst of those things and still be calm in your heart.

SMILE… each breath is a blessing.

The quality of a person’s life is in direct proportion to their commitment to EXCELLENCE, regardless of ALL else.

“Quality is never an accident… It is always  the result of high intention, sincere effort,  intelligent direction,  and skillful  execution.

It represents the wise choice of many alternatives.” Will Foster

Tell you the secrets of the world.

I love you

all that you have been

and all you’re yet to be.

The word Namaste is a combination of the two Sanskrit words: nama, and te. Basically, nama means “to bow” and te means “you.” The Namaste salutation was transmitted from ancient India to the countries of South-east Asia, and has now traveled virtually all over the globe. In Japan the Namaste hand gesture is called Gassho and is used in prayer and healing sessions.

Mudra of Namaste:

Hands are held together at the palms in front of the heart or brow chakra. Head is bowed slightly downward. Eyes are sometimes closed. A Yogic Thank You:  Yoga students often repeat “Namaste” at the end of each class as a thank you, honoring their instructor. Equalizer:  Namaste is significant because it is a humbling gesture.  Namaste is done as a recognition that we are all on equal standings, all of us are children of divinity. We are one.

Who Can Namaste?  Namaste can be used as a greeting for all ages, all genders, all races. Namaste greetings can be given to friends, family members, and also strangers. Written Notation: The word “Namaste” is often used as a closing notation (without the accompanying prayerful hand and bowing head gestures) in written communications similar to “sincerely,” “best regards” or “love.”

The Divine Spirit within me recognizes and honors the Divine Spirit within you.

Hear our humble prayer, O God,

for our friends the animals,

especially for animals who are suffering;

for animals that are overworked,

underfed and cruelly treated;

for all wistful creatures in captivity

that beat their wings against bars;

for any that are hunted or lost or deserted

or frightened or hungry;

for all that must be put death.

We entreat for them all Thy mercy and pity,

and for those who deal with them

we ask a heart of compassion

and gentle hands and kindly words.

Make us, ourselves, to be true friends to animals,

and so to share the blessings of the merciful.

The enemy of fear must be destroyed. it is the cloud that hides the sun that cause perpetual gloom.

Choosing a Different Feeling

Yes, the tears fell – how could they not? So many children lost, so many unique lives ended too soon in the Connecticut Kindergarten shooting. My own son was in his Kindergarten class, just a mile down the road and my initial response was to go get him, immediately. To hide and protect him from the monsters that lay in wait. I was struck with the fear they must have faced having a gunman in the school and the horror of not having a way to defend themselves. My humanity and heart was caught in the sadness, shock, pain, fear, grief, confusion….

Breathe – I am telling myself. Then I began relaxing, reminding myself my son will look to me for guidance in this situation and although I would prefer to live in a peaceful world, our reality holds hidden dangers throughout and he will learn this in time.  I wonder how a soul could become so lost as to take the lives and innocence of others. What a cruel lesson to share. Did he not feel love, hugs? Where did it go wrong?

I release all of those things – dwelling on them only creates pain within me – breathing – I search for something that will help and I find a small opening and microshift upwards…  I think of all the teachers who were hiding children, protecting them with their lives. These underpaid heroes who sometimes unselfishly promote themselves into the position of a human shield for our children. I realized how much I love our teachers, how much they love our children and I appreciate them with my whole heart.

This is also when I remembered, we may not be able to control the actions of others and we may never understand them, however, our prayers, meditations, and friendships do make a world of difference.

Yay – I did it. Moved right up the emotional chart and found my peace. It was a bit more intense then this, but you get the idea.  😉

As I am dwelling in my now moment, which is currently a beautiful meditative state, I confess that I love unconditional love – it’s a relief – it’s perfection even when surrounded by the chaos of physical life. It reminds me true life is eternal and love is omnipresent. So, I am sending this incredible unconditional love as a continuous wave to all beings – to remind us we are always loved – even when our hearts are breaking and things don’t make any sense.

In meditation and prayer I find a space of unconditional love where peace exist and has no opposite. It’s a place of constant love – where the heart praises and the mind is lifted into serenity. Through this ‘heavenly’ state it became clear to me how we create energy patterns that radiate out from us, affecting our environment, in fact, our whole world. Meditation trains our mind to work for us instead of against us and whatever we are focused on – grief, anger, pride, joy, love, peace – it all radiates from us like light waves, affecting everything around us. When we train our mind and follow our hearts to higher planes, it raises our vibrations and these vibrations carry into existence further than we can imagine.

Right now, Earth and all her inhabitants are asking for help and we have much to offer. It’s easy to join with others in your area  – creating new groups, new friendships, and learning to love life together. Through living and learning and meditating together, we remember how important meditation is in our lives, how it affects others and how to keep it a daily priority. This can be especially challenging when we live in a society built on such different priorities. Changing the vibrations together, we lift everyone with us.

sending loving ascending light… to the hearts of all.

Who Am I?

I watched as her response made him angry. His whole body was rigid and I wondered if he realized how easily he was manipulated, how easily he was prone to anger? Does he really want to continue living in this pain? To be so easily affected by the little things in life, to so easily lose his joy….

I doubt it. I feel we all are searching for love, searching for a measure of peace. Looking for joy or at least something that feels better than anger and disappointment.

I started this personal search within me several decades ago and I am still learning who I am. Learning who I choose to be. Clarifying what I desire out of my life. Yesterday I choose to create more clarity in my life and this morning my inner voice gave me a 33 day challenge to help with this clarity.

GOAL: Every night review the day and the moments when your consciousness shifts up or down. Review what initiated the change and how you responded. Look into the situation and ask for the purpose of your specific response to be revealed.

When I remember each person responds differently to the same things, I am given a hint that my response is not necessarily “right” or “wrong”. It just is the way I do it and it is helpful to understand why I respond the way I do because I discover more about me and how to create the life I desire.

In this knowing, comes understanding and the ability to shift my choices and create a different response that leads me towards the path I choose to live – one filled with peace, love, joy and beauty.  I learn who I wish to be and how to make that happen.

Loving you – and me too!

Samhain – an Ancestors Prayer for the New Year

Sunset on Samhain (pronounced ‘sow-en’), October 31st, is the beginning of the Celtic New Year, a three day holiday from Oct 31 – Nov 2. The old year has passed, the harvest has been gathered, livestock have been brought in from the fields, and the leaves are falling from the trees. It’s the ending of one cycle, the beginning of another as the earth slowly begins to hibernate around us.

This is a good time for us to look at wrapping up the old and preparing for the new in our lives. Think about the things you did in the last twelve months. Have you left anything unresolved? If so, now is the time to finish them, because, once you have that unfinished stuff cleared away, you can begin looking towards the next year.

It’s also a period of time to honor and respect our friends and family who have transitioned before us. It’s a celebration of life over death. Candles are lit to honor our loved ones, plates of food are left out and festivals continue for 3 nights. Our Celtic heritage looks to our ancestors to bring them guidance for the coming year and to use this opportunity to honor their loved ones, not as dead, but as living spirits and guardians who hold the wisdom of mankind. It’s a celebration of the afterlife, understanding we never die, we always live and continue to learn.

For centuries people have believed these days offer the thinnest layer between our world and all our ancestors before us – and this is why we send a prayer to our ancestors – sending our love to them.

My family uses birthday candles on Samhain – lighting a candle and saying a Samhain prayer for each friend and family member that has returned to the heart of the Creator before us. As the candle is lit, we place it upright in a large bowl of sand until the altar of my ancestors glows with a soft, warm light illuminating the room and photos of our loved ones.

I am honored to share our Samhain prayer with you. May your family be blessed at this most precious time.

Ancestor Prayer on Samhain

To ______________________ (your loved one’s name)

I honor You,

From the dawn of your birth

to the sunset of your death,

I honor you.

(breathe deeply)

For everything you accomplished

and everything you didn’t,

I honor You.

(breathe deeply)

For the experience you brought to my life

and the experience I shared with you,

I honor You.

(breathe deeply)

May you feel the love I send to you now.

and may my heart be open to receive your love.

(breathe deeply)

May my mind be quiet to hear your voice

and may your wisdom and love continue to grow forever.

(breathe deeply)

May you feel the breath of Spirit surrounding you at all times

and may you feel supported in everything you do,

from this moment until the end of time.

(breathe deeply)

and so it is.

To me, it is about being in a state of praise.

I instruct my mind to quiet itself
and I move into my heart,

feeling it expand

I send love to all things

and I dwell in the space of Divinity, listening.

As this unfolds, joy is what I become.
and a light of such beauty and radiance
my entire existence
dwells in this neverending expanse.

My body feels it too. It vibrates, as if I am floating; an electric charge coursing through me.  This energy of love wraps around me.

It moves through me
and I once again remember who I am.

All else is just illusion.

There are layers to the exploration –
unimaginable things – so much beauty.

It is the pure love of the Creator.
It is where my true being
is one of joy and beauty.

It is where peace exist and has no opposite.

Creating An Energy Matrix

This is a powerful tool for manifestation and it’s basic design is based upon the Lo Shu and the Ba Gua maps of Feng Shui. In this case, I have incorporated the symbol of the 8 petaled lotus flower representing perfect rhythm, balance, cosmic order, regeneration and a state of completion, of happiness.

Because of the tremendous change that can occur,  I recommend only setting up one area at a time.  Just choose the area that you desire immediate change and focus on it right now.  Then wait a few days or weeks and set up the next area.  This way you have time to adjust to the changes in your life as they happen.  It’s greatest gift is to aid you in achieving your goals in many different areas of your life – family, career, health, romance, fame, children, mentors and more…  and the more energy you put into creating this matrix, the faster and more powerful the results.

One way to think about it is an energy pattern you are creating to serve your desires. I like to visualize it as blue light… forming a specific energy and drawing my intentions to me. If you choose to change everything at once – then decide all your preferences prior to setting up the pattern. This way your focus will be clear.  Also, you may want to schedule some appointments with a counselor, because everything is going to change at once. Alternatively, when you set up one area at a time, it makes the transitions much easier and more enjoyable.   😉

You are welcome to print out this map for your own use.  You can temporarily set it in the middle of the room to help direct your actions, then remove it once the pattern has been established.  If can be used on each room in your home, on your land, in your office, etc…  The directions have been listed below to help and if you have any questions, just email me.

Copyright 2012 Aliya Trinity

  1. Stand in the center of the room. This represents your inner being – your existence – your life – your “I AM” presence.
  2. Balance & Ground yourself – going into a meditative state. In this place you are the center of the storm. Peaceful, calm and decisive.
  3. Using the map, turn to each direction and set your intention – allow all your senses to participate in the experience and open your heart to feel what you are creating.
  4. If possible, place an item in that area that signifies your intention. A statue, a painting, a rock, a photo, etc…. For example, you can choose 8 stones of the appropriate colors and place them in each area. It is important to understand the stone doesn’t create the energy- it holds the energy you place within it.
  5. Direct this pattern to continually support you until you remove or change it.
  6. Stay in a place of allowing the changes to occur and accepting them when they do.

Here are some examples of items you can place within each area….

Northwest area is for Mentors and statues are great ideas!

Colored Stones can be used in each area to hold the energy of your intention.

The Northeast area would benefit from a meditation chair, bookshelf or other item that symbolizes knowledge, self study and meditation.

Here is the romance painting…. on the left.

Namaste’ dear friends!
