“If you want to become a meditator, you have to drop this sleepy habit of doing things. Walk, but be alert. Dig a hole, but be alert. Eat, but while eating don’t do anything — just eat. Each bite should be taken with deep alertness, chew it with alertness. Don’t allow yourself to run all over the world. Be here, now. Whenever you catch your mind going somewhere else…. It is always going somewhere else, it never wants to be here. Because if the mind is here it is no longer needed; right in the present there is no need for the mind — consciousness is enough. The mind is needed only there, somewhere else in the future, in the past, but never here…..Whenever you become alert that the mind has gone somewhere else — you are in Poona and the mind has gone to Philadelphia — immediately become alert. Give yourself a jerk. Come back home. Come to the point where you are. Eating, eat; walking, walk; don’t allow this mind to go all over the world.   It is not that this will become meditation, but it will create a situation.”~ ♥ Osho

“Prohibition… goes beyond the bound of reason in that it attempts to control a man’s appetite by legislation and makes a crime out of things that are not crimes. A prohibition law strikes a blow at the very principles upon which our government was founded”

A feeling of being overwhelmed is your indicator that you are denying yourself access to all manner of cooperation that could assist you if you were not disallowing them.  As you begin to feel freer regarding the expenditure of time and money, doors will open, people will come to assist you, refreshing and productive ideas will occur to you, and circumstances and events will unfold. As you change the way you feel, you access the Energy that creates worlds. It is there for your ready access at all times.

To love me is to accept me

To love me is to honor me

To love me is to enjoy my essence

Do not attempt to change me

Do not attempt to control me

Do not try and fix me

Enjoy me and all that I am

Understand I am unique

I do not want something

I do not need anything

I have no expectations of you

I am simply love

And love is who I am

I love being me

The deliciousness of milk and honey

is the reflection of the pure heart:

from that heart the sweetness of every sweet thing is derived.

The heart is the substance,

and the world the accident:

how should the heart’s shadow be the object of the heart’s desire?

Is that pure heart the heart

that is enamored of riches or power,

or is submissive to this black earth and water of the body,

or to vain fancies it worships

in the darkness for the sake of fame ?

The heart is nothing but the Sea of Light:

is the heart the place of vision of God–and then blind ?

The word Namaste is a combination of the two Sanskrit words: nama, and te. Basically, nama means “to bow” and te means “you.” The Namaste salutation was transmitted from ancient India to the countries of South-east Asia, and has now traveled virtually all over the globe. In Japan the Namaste hand gesture is called Gassho and is used in prayer and healing sessions.

————–

Mudra of Namaste:

Hands are held together at the palms in front of the heart or brow chakra. Head is bowed slightly downward. Eyes are sometimes closed. A Yogic Thank You:  Yoga students often repeat “Namaste” at the end of each class as a thank you, honoring their instructor. Equalizer:  Namaste is significant because it is a humbling gesture.  Namaste is done as a recognition that we are all on equal standings, all of us are children of divinity. We are one.

Who Can Namaste?  Namaste can be used as a greeting for all ages, all genders, all races. Namaste greetings can be given to friends, family members, and also strangers. Written Notation: The word “Namaste” is often used as a closing notation (without the accompanying prayerful hand and bowing head gestures) in written communications similar to “sincerely,” “best regards” or “love.”

The Divine Spirit within me recognizes and honors the Divine Spirit within you.

۰̮̑●♥════♥ PRAYER FOR THE ANIMALS ♥

Hear our humble prayer, O God,

for our friends the animals,

especially for animals who are suffering;

for animals that are overworked,

underfed and cruelly treated;

for all wistful creatures in captivity

that beat their wings against bars;

for any that are hunted or lost or deserted

or frightened or hungry;

for all that must be put death.

We entreat for them all Thy mercy and pity,

and for those who deal with them

we ask a heart of compassion

and gentle hands and kindly words.

Make us, ourselves, to be true friends to animals,

and so to share the blessings of the merciful.

I am a sculptor, a molder of form. In every moment I shape an idol.

But then, in front of you, I melt them down.

I can rouse a hundred forms and fill them with spirit,

but when I look into your face, I want to throw them in the fire.

My souls spills into yours and is blended.

Because my soul has absorbed your fragrance, I cherish it.

Every drop of blood I spill informs the earth, I merge

with my Beloved when I participate in love.

In this house of mud and water, my heart has fallen to ruins.

Enter this house, my Love, or let me leave.
